In this Power BI Tutorial, We will discuss how we can add a Title to Power BI Dashboard. Also, We will see how we can add an image and a video to Power BI Dashboard.
Add Title to Power BI Dashboard:
Here I will show you how we can add a Title to Power BI Dashboard. Below is the Power BI Dashboard screenshot where I will add the Title.

To add the Title to Power BI Dashboard, Click on the +Add tile option which is present on the top bar of the Power BI Dashboard page.

Once you will click on the +Add tile option, It will open the below window. Select the Text box option which helps to add text or any custom text to the Power BI Dashboard. Just click on the Next button.

Now Add textbox tile will appear where you have to enter the below field values:
- Display title and subtitle: Once you will put on the checkmark to this option, then it will display the title and subtitle of this text box. (By default this option was disabled)
- Title: Provide the title of the text box that you want.
- Subtitle: Provide the subtitle of the text box which you want.
- Content: Under the Content section, you can change the text font, font size, text color, text alignment, etc. Also, you can describe the dashboard under the Content section.
- Set custom link: Check the Set custom link to provide the link type.
- Link type: Chose any link type option whether you want to give an External link or link on the dashboard or report in the current workspace.
- Dashboard or report to link to: If you enable the link type as ” link on the dashboard or report in the current workspace“, Select any Dashboard or report to link to any existing dashboard which you have on the drop-down.
When all the field value will be filled, then click on Apply as shown below.

Now you can view your Title, Subtitle and Content section at the bottom of the Power BI Page as like below screenshot.

Add Image to Power BI Dashboard:
Here we will see how we can add an image to the Power BI Dashboard. Below is the Power BI Dashboard screenshot where I will add the image.

To add an Image to Power BI Dashboard, Click on the +Add tile option which is present on the top bar of the Power BI Dashboard page as shown below.

Once you will click on the +Add tile option, It will open the below window. Select the Image option which helps to add a picture to the Power BI Dashboard. Just click on the Next button.

When you will click on the Next button, then a Tile details box will appear where you have to enter the below field values:
- Display title and subtitle: Once you will put on the checkmark to this option, then it will display the title and subtitle of the image. (By default this option was disabled)
- Title: Specify the title of the image that you want.
- Subtitle: Provide the subtitle of the image which you want.
- URL: Provide the URL of an image that you want to display on the dashboard page.
- Set Custom Link: You have to checkmark this option to give the custom link to the image.
- External Link: If you will select this option, then you have to specify the URL of the image.
- Link to a dashboard or report in the current workspace: If you will select this option, then you have to select an existing dashboard or a report from the current workspace.
- URL: Provide the external image URL.
If you want to open the custom link in the same tab, then enable the Yes option otherwise enable No as like below screenshot.
When all the field value will be finished, then click on Apply as shown below.

Now you can see that image is added to the Power BI dashboard. Although the image is not showing here it will display in the new tab when you will click on that.

As I have clicked on that image, So the image is generated as like below screenshot.

If you want to change something in the image, then click on … symbol and Edit details as like the below screenshot.

Add Video to Power BI Dashboard:
Similarly, you can add a video to the Power BI Dashboard. Below is the Power BI Dashboard screenshot where I will add the video.
To add a video to the Power BI Dashboard, Click on the +Add tile option which is present on the top bar of the Power BI Dashboard page as shown below.
Once you will click on the +Add tile option, It will open the below window. Select the Video option which helps to add a video to the Power BI Dashboard. Just click on the Next button.

When you will click on the Next button, then a Tile details box will appear where you have to enter the below field values:
- Display title and subtitle: Once you will put on the checkmark to this option, then it will display the title and subtitle of the video. (By default this option was disabled)
- Title: Specify the title of the video that you want.
- Subtitle: Provide the subtitle of the video which you want.
- Video URL: Provide the URL of a video that you want to display on the Power BI dashboard page. (this will not accept any other video URL except YouTube or Vimeo videos)
- Set Custom Link: You have to checkmark this option to give the custom link to the video.
- External Link: If you will select this option, then you have to specify the URL of the video.
- Link to a dashboard or report in the current workspace: If you will select this option, then you have to select an existing dashboard or a report from the current workspace.
- URL: Provide an external video URL.
If you want to open the custom link in the same tab, then enable the Yes option otherwise enable No as like below screenshot.
When all the field value will be finished, then click on Apply as shown below.

Now you can see that Youtube video is added to the Power BI dashboard as like below screenshot.

Once you will click on to start the video, then you can watch the full video.

If you want to watch the video on the full and big screen, otherwise if you want to watch the next video after it, then click on … symbol and Open hyperlink option as like the below screenshot.
Also, If you want to modify something in the video section, then you can edit the video by using the Edit details option.
