The basic syntax of the Typescript filter() method is as follows:

  • callback: A function that tests each element of the array. Return true to keep the element, false otherwise.
  • element: The current element being processed.
  • index (optional): The index of the current element being processed.
  • array (optional): The array filter was called upon.
  • thisArg (optional): A value to use as this when executing callback.
